Joined through the Dataseed acquisition and grew into three roles: tech lead of the ESG Reporting product, Scrum Master for a three-product team, and owner of the platform pieces the whole team runs on (CI, security scanning, testing, the React design system).
What I did
- ESG Reporting Product Lead: Built the product from the ground up. It lets customers create reports against multiple regulatory frameworks, rendering 10k+ disclosures across 100+ standards, over 20 screens spanning data entry, versioning, calculations and more.
- Scrum Master: Ran the Scrum ceremonies (planning, pre-planning, reviews, retros) for a 10-person team (8 dev, 2 QA) across three products. Designed the sprint mechanics and processes around capacity planning, dev-to-QA handoff, releases and documentation for team members.
- Design System Owner (React): Collaborated on the migration proposal with the Design & Vue teams, set its phases and timeline, and delivered it: 50+ shared components moved into a core-plus-wrapper package with zero changes across 480+ call sites.
- Testing Direction: Introduced Vitest for unit and integration tests and Playwright for E2E, along with the team's testing guidelines and Claude Code sub-agents that specialise in FE & BE testing. Migrated BE integration tests to unit tests (roughly 9× faster). Built Litmus, a Test-Management Platform on GCS; QA now runs release regression there instead of spreadsheets, saving an estimated 5+ QA hours per release cycle.
- Supplier Assessment (SAQ) Product: Built the foundation of the product post-acquisition by Zeroboard. Designed the system, shipped the MVP and scaled it from there. Triaged issues raised by the CS team and delivered high-revenue features including supplier training, buyer-supplier communication and analytics.
- Platform and CI Ownership: Automated the release "Prepare and Publish" workflows in CI, with Slack notifications for stakeholders (CS / Biz). Replaced Snyk with an open-source scanning stack (Trivy, Schemathesis, Nuclei) plus a weekly AI security review that opens fix PRs. Moved all CI to Blacksmith runners, cutting monthly CI spend by roughly 45%.
